What Does the Phone Say

BRIEF

The WDTPS (What Does the Phone Say) is the iPhone application totally controlled with voice. The objective of the application works with voice recognition which can be played as a game. The game is developed for kids with the idea to listen the sounds of animals which will be played randomly and user shall speak out the name of the animal. The application recognizes the voice that is spoken and confirms if it is correct then plays another sound.

Features

The mobile application which is built with the concept of game includes the following features:

  • 1 to 10 people can play this game
  • All players need to remember all names provided in game.
  • When game starts, a random sound from remember list will be played.
  • Then a random player will be chosen from available players (i.e. whose life is > 0).
  • Then that player need to speak out the correct name of played sound.
  • If player speaks true then next round will be started, else players one life deducted.
  • The player who loses 2 lives first will be the loser and game ends.
  • Sound recognition using OpenEars.(www.politepix.com/openears/)

Technical skill is outstanding, delivered as promised. Spent extra efforts to provide critique on whether certain functionalities would make sense or are worth developing.
