Objective

The client approached us for developing a social media application based on different places. The app can collect the data from the user’s Twitter, Instagram, and Eyez data storage. The client wanted to enable users to see posts for particular places while getting their geographical information.

Our Solution

Our team has successfully implemented the architecture for collecting data from three social media platforms. We have also improved user experience based on our research and the client’s inputs.

Features

Aggregated data from Twitter, Instagram, and Eyez data storage
Users can browse places by Google categories
Place details page where users are able to see map direction, menu, opening hours, photos, etc.
App also features a grid view contains all nearby places and a map view to view all posts
Users can upload photos for places they are visiting and upload to Eyez data storage

App has a driving mode, which captures photos every few seconds and uploads to Eyez data storage
App also features push notifications for uploading photos. If one user looking for a place, and at the same time another user is near that place, the app sends a notification for uploading photos
It also features videos from Twitter, Instagram, and Eyez
