Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
- Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
- Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company’s current content.
- Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Basic of Knowledge of SEO Content Best Practices will be an added advantage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication/Journalism or related field
- Should have a proven track record of writing and creating stunning content.
- Should Have a professional portfolio of various articles and content pieces written in the past.
- Should have impeccable written and verbal communication skills and should be well versed with idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
- Should be passionate about writing content pieces for various platforms
- Should have the ability to multi-task and deliver under strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
